Carrera Marine & Interiors Ltd was formed in 2005 by Craig Finnemore, a trade qualified Boat Builder with over 20 years experience.

Serving an apprenticeship with Brown and Miller Boat builders, Craig learnt a wide range of boat building skills including new boat construction, boat repair and ship-wright work.  On completing his apprenticeship he moved to McMullen and Wing working on super yacht refits - meeting the high standard of work required in these projects. 

Craig began contracting to various boat building yards around Auckland, including Lloyd Stevenson Boat Builders, Marten Yachts and Nautical Contracting. This provided exposure to numerous high end projects on boats such as Pacific Mermaid, Ruben Jane, Crazy Horse, and Mirabella V

A Factory Management role with Nautical Contracting saw Craig managing a team, overseeing large projects for clients abroad.

Craig prides himself on his quality workmanship and on any project that requires a keen eye for detail and superb finish.
